Van Morrison disappointing!
The show started at exactly 8:00, as scheduled, but ended at 9:30 with no encore. Sadly omitted were Tupelo Honey, Into the Mystic (which is one of my ALL time favorites and the major reason I wanted to see the show), Gloria, and other huge songs. Trans-Siberian Orchestra never once introduced their band or addressed the audience. The words they sang were unintelligible.
I had hoped the Atlanta show would be different, but I read all these same complaints from bloggers from other states/venues prior to attending the show (after spending a fortune on tickets). While I tried to look at the bright side and told myself I had an evening out with some decent "jazz" music and nice weather, it didn't work. I was still left feeling rooked. Beer sales cease 15 minutes prior to the start of the concert. Don't waste your hard-earned money on this one. Trans-Siberian Orchestra didn't appreciate it enough to even say hello to their crowd.
